Pensioner Representative Trustee Election Results

Each of the five Pensioner Representative Trustees who serve on the Scheme’s Committee of Management are elected from their respective constituency, and serve for a period of five years.

Bobby Clelland’s five-year term of office as the Pensioner Representative Trustee for the Scotland, North West England and North Wales constituency came to an end on 30 September 2018. Over the summer, an election was held in the constituency, following which Bobby was re-elected. Bobby will now serve a further five-year period until September 2022.

Results in detail:

  • Two candidates stood for election.
  • 5,820 members voted, which is just over 31.07% of the 18,731 who were eligible to vote.
  • Bobby Clelland received over 84% of the votes cast.

The Trustees would like to offer their thanks to all those who expressed an interest in the election, whether by standing for election or by voting.
